Stopping to Smell the Flowers in Bryant Park

I spent this lovely afternoon walking around to stop and smell the flowers in Bryant Park. Love it there. Especially right now with all the beautiful flowers in full bloom. I can almost smell them. =0)

This is for all you adventourous, spotaneous, and sporty New Yorkers who are looking for something other then your typical run. Find your innner "spartan", channel that hidden "warrior" cause it's time to "Run a Muck" up in here. 

 

THE SURVIVAL RACE

When: May 20th & August 25th

Where: New Windsor, NY

The Deets: What's it all about man... Obstacles and Mud

Distance: 5k (3.2 Miles)

Who's Invited: ages 9-99 Family Fun

SPARTAN RACE

When: June 2nd

Where: Tuxedo, NY

The Deets: What's it all about man... This race is all about your time. Be the best, finish the fastest. 

Distance: 4 Hilly Miles

Who's Invited: Adults for main race. They do have a Spartan Jr. race same day for ages 4-13 check site for information (link below)

DOWN & DIRTY MUD RUN

When: September 30th

Where: Pelham Bay Park - Orchard Beach, NY

The Deets: What's it all about man... Through the woods, down the beach to the mud we run. Obstacles and fun times.
